The Last Month, Day 9: Ugh.

I would post a lovely photo or two for you, but hubbo is doing some sort of computerly maintenance on my desktop, so I'm stuck using his laptop, onto which I cannot download photographs.

Instead I will tell you that all of a sudden, starting about two days ago, I feel REALLY pregnant. My feet hadn't swollen at all until then, I had experienced no acid refluxy stuff, and though I felt quite, quite large, I still felt somewhat mobile. Now I feel immobilized, like a beached whale lodged in the sand, used to moving with ease, even grace, but all of a sudden stuck where my own momentum has abandoned me. With toes that look like short yet overstuffed sausages. Like I said, ugh.

I know that I have it pretty easy compared to some women though, so I try not to moan too much. I have three weeks left to go, less if the little pea comes a few days or a week early like his siblings, and honestly, I need that time to get ready. I only ordered a new car seat this morning at 4:30 a.m. when I couldn't sleep (not having bought a car seat yet being one of the reasons I couldn't sleep).

Fat toes or no, I better get cracking. At least we have a crib, even if there's nowhere to put it. (Thanks, Alarming!)

That's pretty good going, I had quite an easy pregnancy but had alot of acid reflux and still do and was a bit like a beached whale for the last half of it.

you would have been better off with a drawer, perhaps? It's too big for right now!
