So Sitcomy and Dumb.

Some people I know, these people... I knit with these people. And these people heard me swear a little bit on Tuesday while I was knitting with them. You see, I am not coherent right now. I just did a dumb, dumb, funny, dim thing. I put a load of clothing into my washing machine, started it (warm wash, cold rinse), and then wandered around the house wondering where I'd put my knitting down. My knitting that is going to be a lovely little fulled handbag for W-Man's teacher as an end-of-the-year gift. I was about three-fifths of the way done with this bag. Later, the washing machine all cycled through, I started loading the clothes into the dryer. Guess where I found the knitting? This bag is now partly felted, along with the remaining half-knit skein. I am sort of speechless, but there is also a part of me that has begun an unrelenting monologue of curses and potty-language. I'm annoyed. And I also find it very funny because it's just so sitcomy and dumb. And the swearwords are making me think of my knitterly lady-friends (and one man who is still putting up with us because we are teaching him how to knit for free). Hi gals.
