Double, Double, Toil and Trouble! Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble!

The Enchanting and Magical Witch Hat? She is finished.
[Her pre-fulled state below]
I finished the knitting while watching Kinky Boots yesterday afternoon, and I threw her into the washing machine to full up while running to The Hook and Ladder for burgers and fries for dinner (needed some o' that lucky number 13--dem's some greasy but good eatin'). I blocked her while watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night.
By this morning, she was dry. Now I just have to buy and insert some heavy gauge wire around the brim so she's got a little backbone to her.

That is fantastic. May it bring enough bad luck and guilt to whoever swiped it, and may it be returned.

I adore the colorwork.

What?? Someone stole your witch hat! May they go bald and blind in one eye. I was a really, really bitchin hat!

I'm guessing you were at Lowe's to buy the heavy gauge wire, right? Goddamn fuckers who stole your hat.

I say, knit another one just like it. When someone stole a gift package from my car I had put together to send to my cousin for her new baby, I totally recreated it. I didn't want someone to steal the pleasure from me, too.

(That's partly why I re-knit Wool Peddler. I might have to do it again in Moose Creek colorway, though)
