Oh my nippy noodles, I can hardly stand it anymore.
When I do let myself think about it, I am filled with equal parts impatience, terror, and elation. What if I totally fail and have absolutely no spinning aptitude whatsoever? It's within the realm of possibility. But I've wanted to do it for so long that I have to give myself the chance to try, despite the very real risk of failure.
Also, I tried, in my distracted impatience, to give a certain young man a mowhawk, with disastrous results. He's decompressing in the bathtub right now. Note to self: buy new hair clippers while out today. And next time? I'll just knit him one:

I'm sure you'll be a great spinner! Hope it gets there soon :)
No worries on the spinning! You'll be great, and you have lots of great people to help with any questions or problems.
Alas, there's not much we can do to help with a disastrous mohawk. Unless you want our extra hair trimmer...
Well, I'm sure you'll be able to do it. You're observant, dexterous, and you have a good eye.
Fabulous news about the wheel, it's addictive, and I'm sure you'll take to it!
